Gopher is not using MO to mod FNV if I am correct.Ĥ. As I am only playing FNV at the moment and not using MO to mod it, I can't really help you with that. Cleaning the vanille files however will result in a possibly more stable game as unneeded records and such things will be purged from the. If you use a merged patch, these things and many other things will be merged, so you don't have to miss out on any perks if using certain weapons, provided the mod author has added them to the appropriate lists. Normally, only the last loaded mod will win (only the perk list provided with the last mod will work ingame). A merged patch solves conflicts between mods, for example if two mods add a weapon to a perk list (for example the Cowboy perk). As far as I know, cleaning master files and creating a merged patch are two different things. I will try to give you my input chronologically:ġ. Is that just because it wasn't out when he started that game and he doesn't want to mess with things, or because he found a problem with it, or it interfered with something, or what? In one of Gopher's FNV with MO videos, he goes over the User Interface Organizer mod,, but I don't see it in his load list anywhere on his current play through. I don't suppose there's any chance Gopher has posted his priority list anywhere, is there? I don't mean the load order (though that would be a nice starting point), but the priorities from the left pane of MO.

If I can use the same copy, I'll consolidate.

Now, I don't have any problem doing this, having done it with Skyrim a few times, but is it necessary? Or will the step that Gopher put in one of his mod clinic videos about creating the merge patch solve that problem?Ĭan I use the same physical copy of LOOT with both Skyrim and FNV? Will it "remember" who called it, and go back there or do I have to switch games when I switch MO instances? I currently have two separate copies installed, but only because I'm still using the older version for Skyrim. I've gotten a few FNV mods loaded with Mod Organizer, and when I run LOOT (either the "built-in" one or a stand-alone 0.7.1 copy), it tells me that many of the DLC plugins need cleaning with FNVEdit.
